Australian prisoners reclaiming family visit

Family Andrew Chan visited reclaiming for the first time.

Australian family on death row, Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran, visited them for the first time in reclaiming the island, where they will be executed.

Chan's mother, Helen, and her brother, Michael, was contrary to reclaiming with parents Sukumaran, Sam and Raji. They were accompanied by other family members as well as the Australian Embassy consular staff.

Before crossing into reclaiming, Michael Chan said she and her mother is very looking forward to meet with Andrew.

"When I got there, we will embrace him," Michael said as quoted by the Associated Press.

The siblings Myuran Sukumaran, Chinthu, admitted he and his family are really looking forward to be able to meet Myuran.

"We were told he was in good condition. We just wanted to see for myself, to be sure, and to tell him that we love him, "said Chinthu told AFP.

Chan and Sukumaran have been in reclaiming since Wednesday (04/03) after transferred from Bali's Kerobokan Prison.

Attorney General's spokesman, Tony Spontana, admitted the execution of death row inmates are still waiting for two waves of technical processes and the development of the legal process.

False hope

Meanwhile, Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott said it continues to do that they are able to order Chan and Sukumaran not executed Indonesian authorities. However, he did not want to raise false hopes.

"I want to assure the people of Australia that the government you do all that we can to meet the best values and the best interests of us," said Abbot on Monday (03/09).

Problem effort to Chan and Sukumaran not executed, the Australian government has indeed done a variety of ways, including offering a prisoner exchange.

Currently, there are three citizens who were detained in Australia as a result of trying to smuggle 389 kilograms of heroin into Australia in 1998 ago. They are Krist Tito Mandagi, Saud Siregar, and Sidiki Ismunandar.
